When does this service fit?
For new systems with related data, existing databases with slow queries, duplicates or errors, and planned database migrations.
Development scope
- Design tables, relationships and constraints, and define sensitive data, access and retention rules.
- Analyze queries, indexes and transactions using data and load representative of actual use.
- Build a cleaning, migration and reconciliation path with backups, a restore trial and rollback planning.
From requirements to implementation
- Model & measure: Understand records and relationships and measure slow or faulty behavior.
- Change & trial: Trial schema, query and migration changes on a suitable test copy.
- Reconcile & transition: Review counts, constraints and relationships, then perform a reversible transition.
What is delivered?
- A data model, field dictionary and documented constraints and permissions.
- Reviewable, repeatable schemas, queries and migration procedures.
- Performance comparisons, data reconciliation results and backup, recovery and operations guidance.
What needs to be defined?
Production changes require an agreed work window and rollback plan. Migration depends on export quality, data-type compatibility and volume; originals are retained until reconciliation is approved.
A service-specific acceptance example
Attempt concurrent updates to one record; constraints and transactions preserve consistency, and a test backup restores.
Scope, cost & schedule
The discussion starts with users, workflows, data volume, integrations and the existing system. Priorities are agreed, followed by a written first-release scope, cost, schedule and acceptance criteria. Later phases can follow business needs.
Testing, handover & support
The agreement defines handover files, usage rights, hosting, backups, updates and support. Agreed scenarios are tested, and operating setup, permissions and rollback procedures are documented before launch.

The acceptance criterion above is a planning example; actual tests follow your project scope.

Does slow performance require a different database?
Diagnosis starts with queries, indexes, data volume and application access patterns. A targeted adjustment may suffice; evidence may instead justify an architecture or technology change.
How is migration integrity checked?
By reconciling record counts, relationships, key fields and totals, with an exception log and a data-owner-reviewed sample before cutover approval.
Can actual business data be used?
Only with authorization and suitable controls. A sanitized test copy is preferred, with limited access, secure transfer and defined retention and deletion of copies.
