KNOWLEDGE / CLEARER TECHNOLOGY DECISIONS

Technology guidesfor planning your project.

Guides to understand options, trade-offs and what your project actually needs. No single technology fits every project.

START HERE

How to choose the right language and technology for your project

Start with what must work, not a language name. A suitable stack balances user experience, data, the maintenance team, operational cost and the project’s constraints.

02THE DETAILS MATTER

Every decision has context.

02

Website, web app, mobile app or PWA?

Choose the channel that makes the user’s task easier. Having an app-store listing is not, on its own, a reason to build an app.

03

Custom development, a hosted platform or a CMS?

Use an existing platform when it fits the process. Customize what creates a real difference. Starting from zero is not justified merely by owning every line of code.

04

Flutter, React Native or native development?

Compare user interface needs, device integrations and team experience. Shared code is useful; it does not remove the need to test each platform.

05

Choosing a backend: .NET, Node.js, Laravel and Django

Choose an environment your maintenance team understands and that fits the data and integrations. A framework name does not automatically deliver security.

06

Databases and managed services: PostgreSQL and Firebase

Compare the data model and what you actually need to operate. PostgreSQL is a database; Firebase is a services ecosystem. Specify the components before comparing them.

07

Choosing technology for commerce, SaaS and dashboards

A product category does not dictate one architecture. Understand accounts, orders, data and integrations before splitting a system into services.

08

What shapes development, hosting and maintenance cost?

Compare what will be delivered and what must be operated after handover. The lowest build price is not always the lowest ownership cost.

09

Should a system be repaired, modernized or rebuilt?

Identify the cause and trial a reversible repair, then compare improvement, phased modernization and rebuilding against functions, data and continuing cost.

10

How to assess Odoo fit before customization

Turn each workflow into an input, role and expected-result test, then compare configuration, customization and custom development. Includes an original downloadable worksheet.

11

ERP migration: how to verify a correct transfer

Matching counts and totals alone is insufficient. Verify identifiers, relationships and currencies, and rehearse recovery before cutover. Includes a synthetic-data reconciliation demo.

How to evaluate an Arabic AI assistant and its integrations

Separate answer quality from permission to act. Test Arabic and English, missing evidence, tenant isolation and human approval before any write.
